New Job, New Views

​damn it’s been a year since I wrote my last post. I know I said I’ll post frequently but blogging or journaling consistently has always been a challenge. Anyway, we do what we can right? 

Since my last post in March 2025, many things have happened. Moved into the new place that the cats and us LOVE. Met my ex-Coda Brazilian team in our team trip to BKK in Sept 2025. Went to Vietnam with two of our friends in December for Xmas and we went back to Japan in March 2026.

Vietnam: Didnt like the people, love the food. Probably wont be going back for a good while

Japan: God I loved Matsumoto. We did Kawaguchiko and Tokyo as well. Super laxed trip and we were lucky to get snowfall in Matsumoto too. Cant wait to get back next year. I hope to learn Japanese too once money is stable but lets see.

Job: Got retrenched from Cosa in end Jan 2026 due to a massive restructure. Lowkey things were going downhill since the BKK trip anyway. Was unemployed for about 3-months in a shitty job market BUT here we are, new job, good salary so I guess we’re back!

.Drum classes: Was offered a space by a student but apparently now that idea might’ve gone to shit. Sad cause I was really, really looking forward to it but it is what it is. Good things dont usually fall on my lap right away. The universe has a habit of making me work for things! I guess thats it for now. Time to focus on my work, lead the team, hire a new person and try to get a pay raise after my probation. Let’s see if I can do better at blogging this time. Here’s a photo dump for the mems.
